One of the main goals in this small refurbisment was to give it a fresh and youthfull look . Since the balcony had previously been closed, there was a need to define two social areas, a living room and a dinning room. The need to invite the light in, provided by the southern orientation was one of the main concerns in choosing materials and colors, opting for light colours . Also there was a diference in pavement heights that need correcting. A pine platform designed the dinning room area, separating and defining social and private areas.  The bathroom and kitchen were both refurbished and the circulation restructured, creating an open space one bedroom apartment.
